BGHJ Architects announces addition of a new partner November 21, 2006
Bergmark Guimond Hammarlund Jones Inc. (BGHJ Architects) are pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Silva Stojak, Dipl.Eng.Arch., MRAIC as a Partner in the firm effective November 01, 2006. In her new role Ms. Stojak will participate with Partners David Bergmark and Larry Jones to direct the company as it pursues new architectural projects throughout the Maritime Region.
Prior to this appointment Ms. Stojak was an associate with BGHJ Architects and designer on many projects throughout the region including Nova Scotia Liquor Commission retail outlets, Charlottetown Driving Park & Entertainment Centre, Confederation Centre of the Arts Interiors, The Jean Canfield Building and the PWC Cambridge Building (winner of the 2002 Best Sustainable Office Interiors Award). Most recently she is the chief designer and Partner-in-Charge of the new headquarters for Saint John Energy.
Ms. Stojak received her Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree from the University of Sarajevo (1988) in her native Yugoslavia. She resides in Charlottetown with her husband Neb and her daughters Katarina and Hannah.
